Grades

We value the effort our students put in to learn. We strive to see them progress, therefore, we strongly recommend that our students should aim at taking exams in the Grade that they are capable of passing. Our aims and objectives are to provide the space, the learning environment and focus that they pass with distinction.

Exams

We are pleased to book you or your child to take an exam. Please see below of the dates and prices, click on the logos below to be redirected to the exam boards websites, otherwise we can do the booking on your behalf. Good luck.

One of the oldest music examinations boards around, The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) conducts its examinations in 90 countries worldwide, attracting over 600,000 candidates annually. The leading authority on musical assessment, it sets the standard for music examinations worldwide by conducting its examinations rigorously and consistently.

London College of Music (LCM) Examinations is an international examining board offering graded and diploma examinations in music, drama and communication. External examinations have been awarded by the London College of Music since the institution’s founding in 1887. LCM Examinations, is the second oldest music grading board and the only one fully integrated within a university. Today, examinations are held worldwide, across a large network of exam centres.

Rockschool's graded music exams provide an opportunity for candidates to work towards accredited qualifications, playing the music they love. They assess progressive mastery on a musical instrument from Entry Level 3 (Debut) up to Grade 8. Through reinforcing knowledge across all sections of the exam, they help candidates consolidate their learning and develop their skills in a more stimulating and enjoyable way.
